1. Smoke exhaust fire damper can be interlocked with ventilator and smoke exhaust fan.

2. The operating mechanism side of the valve should have a clear space of not less than 200mm for maintenance.

3. Before installing the valve, it is necessary to check whether the operating mechanism of the valve is in good condition and whether the action is sensitive and useful.

4. The smoke exhaust fire damper should be installed in the duct section close to the wall or floor. The fire dampers on both sides of the partition wall of the fire partition should not be more than 200mm away from the wall surface. The pipes and their insulation materials within 2.0m on both sides of the fire damper should be made of incombustible materials.

5. Fire dampers shall be provided with supports and hangers separately, so as to prevent pipeline deformation from affecting their performance in case of fire.

6. The fuse piece of the smoke exhaust fire valve should be installed on the side facing the greater fire risk.
